Margaret DeLong
Margaret discovered yoga at a young age, beginning her practice as a way to warm up for dance. However, yoga quickly became much more than a supplement to her dance experience; it became a vital tool for navigating her personal journey with anxiety and depression. Margaret found empowerment in linking movement to breath and exploring techniques like breath work and mindfulness, which brought her a sense of inner peace and resilience. As yoga deepened her connection to herself, Margaret felt called to share its transformative benefits with others. While attending Valparaiso University, she had the rewarding experience of teaching yoga at the Student Recreation Center, as well as leading sessions for various student organizations. Recently, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Vickie Klosky, owner of Source Yoga. Margaret is thrilled to now teach at Source, where she can guide others on their own journeys of wellness and self-discovery, as well as continue to deepen her own practice.
